All-Natural Pink Himalayan Salt Deodorant Bar Kills Bacteria

Use an all-natural Pink Himalayan salt deodorant bar for a chemical free alternative to commercial deodorants!

Wet it and use it as a regular deodorant bar. Odor is caused by bacteria and salt kills bacteria. Therefore no bacteria = no odor!

Many are still unaware of the hidden dangers in the active ingredients of modern day deodorant. They continue to use these potentially hazardous chemicals on their underarms as a way of reducing perspiration and odor. The primary ingredient used in most antiperspirants is aluminum. Aluminum is a metal, which is used in antiperspirants to help block the sweat from escaping the pores.

Parabens are a family of synthetic preservatives that are often found in deodorants as well. Phthalates are another class of chemicals that are often used in deodorants and antiperspirants that you may want to avoid. Triclosan is another common ingredient included in commmercial deodorants. It is utilized as the odor killing part of antiperspirants for its anti-bacterial properties.

Himalayan Pink Salt has a rich mineral content that includes over 84 minerals and trace elements such as: calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron. This salt is recognized for its beautiful pink color, high mineral content, and its therapeutic properties.

Himalayan Pink Salt is a pure, hand-mined salt that is derived from ancient sea salt deposits in the foothills of the Himalayas. Protected from pollution and impurites since their formation 200 million years ago, Pink Himalayan salt is believed to be the purest form of salt available. The high mineral crystals range in color from sheer white, varying shades of pink, to deep reds, the result of high mineral and iron content.

These versatile bars have multiple uses. Warm in the oven for 15 minutes and use with massage oils for a soothing treatment. The bar can be used in the bath, lightly gliding over the wet skin to benefit from the rich minerals. If looking for a natural deodorant, try using the wet salt bar to provide an invisible layer of salt to deter odors. Sea salt is known for it’s stimulating and soothing properties.

Much has been made of the possible contribution of aluminum-containing underarm antiperspirants to the incidence of breast cancer, since the most common location of the breast cancer is the upper outer quadrant of the breast. Aluminum salts, such as those used in anti-perspirants, have recently been classified as metalloestrogens. In research published in the Journal of Applied Toxicology, Dr. Philippa D. Darbre of the University of Reading has shown that aluminum salts increase estrogen-related gene expression in human breast cancer cells grown in the laboratory.

Crystal deodorants are a popular alternative to conventional deodorants and antiperspirants. They typically use either potassium alum or aluminum alum, which are also aluminum salts. It is believed that they react differently than the other aluminum compounds and are less likely to penetrate the skin and be absorbed. Potassium alum is a naturally occuring salt while ammonium alum is synthetic. Some crystal deodorants are crystal rocks, which contain no other ingredients. Liquid deodorants based on crystal may contain other ingredients of concern.

The salt bar is a healthier alternative than the aluminum stone. They are not processed in any way except they are carved from natural chunks of Himalayas Crystals. The deodorant stone leaves a layer of protection that helps prevent odor causing bacteria from forming. It leaves you fresh and clean, but will not clog up your pores. (lasts for months as deodorant bar) Dampen bar and gently pat on underarms or feet.

The deodorant bar leaves no sticky or greasy residue and it will not stain your clothing or clog your pores. It should always be applied wet to clean skin. As it dries it leaves an invisible layer of protection helping to naturally prevent odor-causing bacteria from forming on the skin. Grasp one end of the deodorant salt bar and wet the other end: rub back and forth over area thoroughly. Dry the stone before storing on your countertop or in a drawer. Does not need to be in a covered container. Be careful, may shatter if dropped.

The Salt Deodorant Stone is not meant to be used internally.

If under medical supervision or pregnant please consult with a physician before use.
